The European Marine Biological Research Centre (EMBRC-ERIC) is a European research Infrastructure designed to advance fundamental and applied research in marine biology and ecology. It comprises renowned marine biological stations and institutes across European and Associated countries and provides access to state-of-the-art national facilities.
EMBRC-ERIC promotes Blue biotechnology by supporting fundamental and applied research activities in medicine, nutrition, aquaculture, biotechnology, and fisheries, among others.
