Description:

BioImaging-GR https://bioimaging.gr/ (MIS 5002755) is a national Research Infrastructure (RI), implemented under “Action for Strengthening Research and Innovation Infrastructures” funded by the Operational Programme” Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation” (NSRF 2014 2020) and co-financed by Greece and the European Union (European Regional Development Fund). This RI is envisaged to provide state-of-the-art biological imaging tools and resources to the Greek biomedical community. BioImaging addresses issues of maximum interest not only for the scientific community but also for the society in general, mainly due to its momentous applications in Medicine (Molecular Medicine, Gene therapy, Drug and disease monitoring, among others). BioImaging-GR is a national initiative with the aim of establishing a state of the art Biological Imaging infrastructure in Greece that will serve the Biomedical Research community in Greece and neighbouring countries.

HCMR is part of BioImaging-GR RI through the sub-project (Α/Α 16) "BIOIMAGING-GR-ELKETHE"
