In an article published recently in KATHIMERINI the creation of the first Recreational Diving Park in Greece is announced. After a long period for the final authorization, the park will now be established in the marine area of Apokoronas, close to Georgioupolis village in Crete. The project includes the deployment of 38 innovative artificial reefs units invented, patented and designed by IMBBC researchers (for more information contact Dr Costas Dounas).
