The final meeting of BestBrood was held in London on 28 of April, a project that is Co-funded by the BlueBio ERA-NET under the Horizon 2020 programme and the General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT) in Greece. Scientific responsible of the project from the IMBBC is Dr. Constantinos Mylonas and the IMBBC was represented by Dr. Ioannis Fakriadis, research fellow. 
The project deals with the reproduction of 4 emerging fish species of the European aquaculture. In Greece, IMBBC focused on the enhancement of spermiation of greater amberjack, a promising species for the Mediterranean aquaculture production due to its fast growth and consumer acceptance.
