The latest newsletter of the European NAUTILOS project has been released and you can read it here! IMBBC and IO have successfully organized several core actions of the project within this period, such as the NAUTILOS Consortium Meeting and a Citizen Science Session on “Collaborative efforts for addressing Citizen Science challenges in the Marine Environment”. The 2nd Summer School has been hosted in Heraklion also including hands on demonstrations on the field and onboard our research vessel PHILIA. Demonstration actions have taken place in order to integrate the numerous NAUTILOS technologies into real-world filed operations. Citizen Science data on plastic litter collection campaigns that took place in Crete have been published to the EMODnet database.
