Description:

The objective of the project is the study of the nutritional requirements of the species Lithognathus mormyrous. Practical diets will be tested in order to investigate the optimum level of protein and energy as well as the levels of feeding in relation to growth, food utilization, physiology and disease resistance. Also, nutritional factors such as levels of vitamins as well as levels of essential fatty acids will be studied and their effect on the immune system will be determined.
