The high-level conference “Our Oceans” is taking place these days in Athens, Greece hosted by the Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic Mr Kyriakos Mitsotakis. World leaders from around the world gather in an effort to accelerate the efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions that cause the Climate Crisis, and to protect Our Oceans from heating, acidification, pollution, overfishing and loss of biodiversity. The Hellenic Center for Marine Research is participating in the parallel sessions supporting the heads-of-states round table discussions.
