My research interests span complex system analysis in biological systems using network theory, statistical analysis and mathematical models. My PhD focuses on data integration and text mining of metagenomic data and literature, respectively, with a focus on the Island Sampling Day in Crete, Greece. I enjoy working together with friends and combining field sampling with bioinformatics.
I joined the lab42open ( http://lab42open.hcmr.gr ) in Biodiversity Section in December 2019 in the fascinating project PREGO ( http://prego.hcmr.gr ) which aims to link microbial processes to ecosystem function.
