I am a research fellow at the Institute of Marine Biology, Biotechnology and Aquaculture of the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research. My main research field is the study of diseases in aquaculture. Until now I had the opportunity to study both infectious and non-infectious diseases that affects established fish species such as seabream and seabass and new emerging species like meagre. My work in this field involves diagnostics, including histology analysis, isolation, identification and characterization of fish pathogens and bacteriophages
