On 22 May 2023, the Where the World is heading? conference was held in Polish Academy of Sciences – Scientific Center in Paris. Leading scientists and oceanography specialists came together to present their knowledge on sustainable development of oceans. The joint meeting resulted in the development of five key recommendations of practices and policies research and policy-oriented institutions may adopt to improve the quality and effectiveness of their communications, in the context of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development 2021-2030.

One of the highlights of the event was speech delivered by Mariusz Lewicki, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to UNESCO. We hope the event will make waves and inspire attendees to build a brighter and greener future!
