Dr Kriton Grigorakis and Dr. Manto Kotsiri participated in the workshop entitled “Saudi Aquaculture Products’ Quality Assessment and Value Chain” that took place in the 9th of June 2024 in the facilities of KAUST in Saudi Arabia. They have presented the key results of the research that has taken place within the frames of the project SEAFOOD QUALITY. The project run from March of 2023 and aim at spherically covering quality and safety aspects of Saudi farmed and wild fish.
The workshop included presentations followed by a round table discussion with the speakers and was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Environment Water and Agriculture (MEWA) of Saudi Arabia, representatives of the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) that hosted the meeting and key stakeholders of the Saudi Aquaculture Industry.
