Mado Kotsiri has approximately 9 years of experience in Marine Biology. Her expertise is on marine molecular biology, secondary metabolites screening using vertebrate cell lines, cloning and biochemical methods of protein production, purification and protein isolation, generation of heterologous expression systems in cell lines, biofouling experiments, toxicity experiments in plankton, fish cells and human cells, fish quality, and fish sensory quality, field and laboratory work. She has participated in more than 7 Greek and European Regional Development projects and has more than 7 papers in scientific journals and conferences.
