Innovative Feed Ingredients
Fish and Decapod Crustacean Nutrition
Maria Mastoraki is a biologist and has aquired her PhD from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Greece. She studied the effect of dietary insect larvae meals on fish and decapod crustacean physiology. Her interest lies in sustainable aquafeeds and her research aims at evaluating innovative feed ingredients considering the physiology and welfare of the farmed species and the nutritional value of the final product. Maria has been involved in projects investigating nutritional requirements, feed attractants, various alternative feed ingredients and feed supplementation.
